Christmas Party 1

The first Christmas party was with the Nutts!
This year we had a hat themed party and had our sumptuous dinner at The Greenwood Fish Market along Greenwood Ave.
Heard many good reviews about their seafood.
But we were quite disappointed when most of the food we ordered were out of stock due to the festive season. I was so craving for Foie Gras lor!!! sigh, so I ended up having some pan-seared dory fish, quite boring actually. But its the company that count!

We had great fun that night and went to have some drinks at The Pepperoni Pizza place and had our gift exchanged!

Yeah~~~Finally I am going to get myself a lovebird!
I've been wanting one for very long and since I've got my bonus, I shall get it now!

Went to Goodwill Birds Trading at Serangoon North Blk 154 today but they ran out of stock of babies lovebird.
He said their customer normally will bring in the babies either on Saturday or Sunday and he said he will give me a call when they got it!

I really become very moody just now because I can't get it today. I was really excited till I can't sleep well yesterday! hahaha..

Anyway hopefully that guy will call me tomorrow 9am! Cause that is their opening hour. WAHAHAHAHA!

I can't wait, can't wait!!!

I had a splendid 2008 with my family, friends and of cause the love of my life Kris Tan. (He is a man for your info. A waiter actually returned his credit card to me instead of him! HAHA)
I know 2009 is gonna be a bad economy year, but still, hope everything will be over soon~

Did I mention I have a million pictures to upload in my previous post?
Not today. HAHA. Been really lazy to edit/resize my pictures.

So how did you guys spend your new year eve?

I've got the clubbing mood but friends were all not around, some went Malaysia, some got their own plans so Kris decided to persuade me to have a quiet countdown with him.

We had dinner at Wendy's Spize Hut at 12 Jalan Gelenggang. Have been craving for Indian cuisine and we had Garlic and Butter Naan, Butter Chicken Masala, Chennai Fish and Cheese prata. The food is really not bad!
After dinner, we went to Thomsan Plaza to shop for our celebration wine! hehe
Bought 3 bottles of wine and some chips for only $80++
So many discount around which makes me grinzzz like there's no tomorrow. =p

We stayed home to watch the Teewee, super boring can? All the mediacorp actors and actresses were lipsyncing!!! And it's super fake lor!
But we were happy laughing at how bad the SuperBand singers are. It's really quite a disgrace to have them standing on the stage to sing live. Gosh!

Anyway, that's how I spent my last moments of 2008, with my Ke Ai De Kiss-an-do! WAHAHAHAHA!

Yesterday was Rinaz's Big Day!
I drove down to Jurong and a big group of bloggers were already there.
Everyone was busy snapping pictures and it really look like some paparazzi! Hahaha..
Anyway the food was great! I always have a thing for Malay food. It smells damn good!
Whenever there's a Malay wedding going on under my Blk, I feel like walking down to congratulate them and help myself with the food (ok, I'm kidding!)

Ya, so this is my 2nd time attending a Malay friend's wedding =)

Home Alone!!!

What am I doing at home on a Saturday night????

Kris went for his Secondary school friend's wedding dinner, parent went to watch Yu Tian's last concert. And I didn't jio my friends out coz I'm still sick! Oh Crap!

Ever since the Standard Chartered Run, I've been having this throbbing pain in my head near the forehead. It makes me feel sick and giddy.

Anyway, sis is not free to drive parent there so I ended up driving them to the Expo Max pavillion. I don't really remember the way there cause I only been there once and was guided by my friend. So this time round, I make used of Gothere.sg.
The map seems easy, just go by TPE, PIE, Exit 1 to Upper Changi Road East all the way straight, turn left to Expo Drive. Reach.

BUT!!! I dunno how I ended up at Loyang Way!!! No Kris, No GPS. I suddenly felt handicapped without him!!!!

I keep driving round and round, no Upper Changi Road East, only Upper Changi Road North. SUPER IRRITATING LOR!
Ended up at Changi Village -__-
No choice but to ask them to take a cab down. Luckily we set off earlier, they had half an hour more before the concert starts.

Drove back to AMK.........M a c D o n a l d ' s.
Wah Lau!! Sick still eat MAC????
But I've been eating boring plain food for the past 1 week!
So I happily ordered Mc Spicy Meal. =D
I have been coughing like siao and I drank coke.
I have been having sorethroat and I ate Mc Spicy and its really spicy
I have been gaining weight and I ate French Fries.
Hooray!!!

But I am lonely on a Saturday night!!!!!!!!

Christmas goodie bag!

My colleague is really sweet to leave a small pressie for everyone during our lunch time. She was trying to create the Christmas mood in us as our office is quite ermm...dull?
So happy to receive something surprising!
Too bad I can't eat the chocolate due to my Birdflu cough.
I've been coughing since I came back from Macau/Hong Kong, and not long after, they announced about the Bird Flu news -__-

SCSM (Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon)

My VIRGIN Marathon!!!!!! Actually 10km short run la..not consider marathon. WAHAHAHA!
My crazy eldest sister came to pick me up at 5am when our run starts at only 8.15am. -_-"
She wanted to avoid the jam and all.
Anyway we waited at Raffles City Starbuck, relax, eat banana and shit.
Josephine joined me as well as her colleagues were all over the places.
My 2nd sister was with Eunice Olsen!!! She went to pick her up as they are from the Community Chest and she needs my sis's company. She used to be my sister's NUS school mate. Wanted to take a picture with her but I never get the chance to meet her =(

ANYWAY, I ran for about near 4 km before I started walking! Coz my ankles and left knee couldn't take it anymore. SO sad lor. If not of the pain I'm sure I can continue running.
I think I ran for 7 or 8km and walked for 2km HAHA. Really can't take it. I only train 4 times and that's it! And I ran 1 round Bishan Park and that was only about 3.6km.

I've been feeling unwell since my Macau trip so can't really train.
SOOOOooo, I used about 1 hour 29 mins to complete my 10 km virgin run!!!
Jo completed hers in 1 hour 31 mins and my eldest sis completed in 1 hour 2 mins!!!! SIAO ON LOR! She's a mother of 2 btw. She's intending to join the half marathon next year.
I don't think my knee can take it due to some old injury =( now even walking down the stairs hurts!
