FJR nights out!

Met up with reena and jo on Saturday night. We chilled at wine bar before going into zouk. It was quite a sway night lah, reena and jo has their citibank card so they can have free entry so I went to buy my ticket alone. We were all standing outside the Zouk queue and naturally I would buy the Zouk ticket lor!
But Jo wanted to go Phuture for the R&B music but I can't go phuture with zouk ticket!!!
They play trance at Zouk on a Saturday night, so not really suitable for our outfit. We cant shuffle in our heels!!!!
Jo got very sian and moody while reena was all high alone.
In the end, we decided to persuade Jo to St James Boiler as they play R&B there. I think we probably stayed there for less than half an hour and proceed to powerhouse.
We nearly died there!!!! While squeezing our way in, 2 indian guy got into a fight right in front of us! There's no way for me to run or dodge away, too crowded! But somehow their friends managed to drag them away. *phew*

Apart from this drama drama, all was good! The music are awesome!
But I was kinda attitude that night, due to my PMS. =p
People ard me just keep spilling drinks on me lor!!! There is this super irritating and Kay Kiang guy, took our shot and try to pass it to reena and it accidently spilled onto my hand and dress. I shouted and cursed him immediately! WAHAHAHAHAHA! He kept apologising but I ignored him. Thinking back, Im really quite Ah lian yesterday night. KUAKUAKUA!
Sorry jo and reena if I shouted at you! Hahahaha

I ordered a dozen of sex on the beach, thinking there will be 12 shots only, so each of us will take 4, but when the waiter told me it comes in pair, I nearly died! 24 shots in total!!!!! But no choice la, I already paid for it so just drink lor.

CNY Day1

Went over to Kris's Dayi's place for lunch and rush back home as I know my mum would be damn busy.
All my relatives, mostly Paternal side visited my house during every Chinese New Year Day 1. Mum cooked Lunch and Dinner non stopped!
As for me, help to entertain and joined in the gambling session!

Her maid prepared a sumptuous Steamboat dinner! I love Beeeeer Beeeef~~























Day 2 went to my 4th aunt place and proceed to Orchard Party World for singing session!!!
Xavier and Ashlee came as well and I forced Xavier to sing Lao shu ai da mi before he can drink the cold bubble tea. Waahahahahaha!














































Ok I know abit random. Anyway, Valentine's day was spent at Sentosa Tanjong Beach.
I woke up 7.30am just to prepare the picnic food. I took 3 hour plus to prepare 2 apetizer, 2 main and 1 dessert (ok strawberry no need to prepare, I gave up on the recipe and stick to the fresh and sweet strawberri).

We only managed to reach Sentosa near 2pm!
Somebody forgot to bring out the handphone! *tsk tsk*

The Kiwi Ham bundles and devilled eggs by the seashore are the 2 apetizers and the meatball and pecan chicken breast are the main.
2 failed 2 passed.
Personally, I like the egg best! I blend the egg yolk with mayo and mastard and add in crabmeat and finely chopped red onion and filled it into the hardboiled egg white. Sprinkled some paprika.

Second is the pecan chicken breast. I marinated the chicken breast with pasley flake, onion powder, salt, tumeric powder, cornflour and dip it in egg white and then coat the chicken with chopped pecan and bring it to a hot grilling pan. YUM!















































Kris doesn't like the white wine so I finished almost 3/4 of it together with a box of strawberry. ( He prefer it cold!!!! SO PICKY!!!)
I ended up feeling high and sleepy at the same time while Kris uses his leg to swing me in the hammock like a baby!
AND I FELL ASLEEP UNDER THE NOT SO HOT SUN BUT STILL GET A SUNBURN!
I realised I can fall asleep easily no matter where am I.
Friend's house sofa, cinema, Timbre@ Substation while sitting on a stool (YES!!! A HIGH STOOL) , Beach and......KTV! hahaha practically everywhere la!

Bluey AGAIN!!!!

Isn't she the most adorable bird on earth????
She is already 2 months old! How time flies~~

Anyway, Bluey bites really hard now! Very naughty recently because she doesn't want to go back to her cage, so whenever I try to grab her, she bites me! BUT I managed to find a way to prevent my hand from bruises, that is to hold her beak!!!!!! WAHAHAHAHAHA!
See who faster la! Neh ni Neh ni Boo Boo~
other than that, she's pretty tame, she knows a few tricks already!
Simple command like "Up", "Down", "Come", "Stand", "Pick"
Pretty impressed by her. =)
But she is one practical bird, no treats, no tricks. KNS!
Her favorite is millet, so whenever we took out her millet container, she became very obedient.

The Obsession with Bluey

Hello!!! As you guys know, I've just bought a baby lovebird name Bluey, I can't stop my hand touching it! It's extremely times a million a cutie bird~SO ADORABLE....sigh...I think I will miss it so much when I am at work tomorrow. =(
Really can't bare to leave it alone in the house.
Was supposed to bring it to the office but Kris said it's not very nice as some people may feel offended, so....sigh...luckily it can feed him/her self already on millet, so I'm not that worried anymore.
Kris used a cap of a bottle, punched a hole and tie it onto Bluey's cage so that it can learn how to drink water (Ive been feeding him using a syringe)
So when Bluey was exploring the new "thing" in his/her cage (ok i decided its a she so just let it be she for this moment haha), she realised there's water inside and started putting her whole head in as she still don't know how to control the strength of her head or beak or whatever you call it.
Its damn hilarous to see her action, she's seems to be playing with the water, damn cute lah!

Ok side track abit, Friday after work, joined Huiwen and her sister's friends to watch Milk at Lido. Not bad a show just take I slept for awhile as I was really really tired. It's about this first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk (Sean Penn) and how he was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone by San Francisco Supervisor Dan White.
I didn't know it was a R21 show until I saw it outside the entrance. Actually nothing sexual, just 2 guys kissing and slapping each other's butt. WAHAHAHAHA! I was hoping to see more but....haiz....(NO LAH IM KIDDING! Its a serious movie ok!!).
Anyway, Harvey Milk's boyfriend was Scott Smith (James Franco) in the show. He is freaking awesome! I find him very familiar and that was when Phua told me he acted in Spiderman 3 as the New Gobin aka Harry Osborn. SO SHUAI~~~

Met up with Kris after that and we went to Harry's for some chilling.

Bluey the Lovebird~~~~

YEAH!!! Like FINALLY I've got my own and first BIRD!
Been waiting for so long, and always wanted to have a bird and play with it, stroke it, cuddle it.
Ok, the above sentence sounds wrong. Ahem.

ARNYWAY, it's BLUE in color with a touch of gray.
The below pictures don't do it justice.
Don't tell me its dull or boring, I just love it!
Still don't know it's gender yet.
But its super tame!!! So I guess it's a female and it love krissy's hand as its big and warm, so Bluey can snuggle on it. Its only a few weeks old and I need to hand feed it 3 times a day but am quite surprised when I saw it eating the mellets him/herself. =) Independent little bird.

Anyway, after Mum saw the bird, she commented:

" eh, blue color! "
" Ya! Nice right? "
" like that the name is LAN JIAO "

ps: Jo, I didn't get the pink head one, there's one with orange head yellow and pink body but I think it's too girly, doesn't suit my character. hehehehe

Christmas Party 1

The first Christmas party was with the Nutts!
This year we had a hat themed party and had our sumptuous dinner at The Greenwood Fish Market along Greenwood Ave.
Heard many good reviews about their seafood.
But we were quite disappointed when most of the food we ordered were out of stock due to the festive season. I was so craving for Foie Gras lor!!! sigh, so I ended up having some pan-seared dory fish, quite boring actually. But its the company that count!

We had great fun that night and went to have some drinks at The Pepperoni Pizza place and had our gift exchanged!

Yeah~~~Finally I am going to get myself a lovebird!
I've been wanting one for very long and since I've got my bonus, I shall get it now!

Went to Goodwill Birds Trading at Serangoon North Blk 154 today but they ran out of stock of babies lovebird.
He said their customer normally will bring in the babies either on Saturday or Sunday and he said he will give me a call when they got it!

I really become very moody just now because I can't get it today. I was really excited till I can't sleep well yesterday! hahaha..

Anyway hopefully that guy will call me tomorrow 9am! Cause that is their opening hour. WAHAHAHAHA!

I can't wait, can't wait!!!

I had a splendid 2008 with my family, friends and of cause the love of my life Kris Tan. (He is a man for your info. A waiter actually returned his credit card to me instead of him! HAHA)
I know 2009 is gonna be a bad economy year, but still, hope everything will be over soon~

Not today. HAHA. Been really lazy to edit/resize my pictures.

So how did you guys spend your new year eve?

I've got the clubbing mood but friends were all not around, some went Malaysia, some got their own plans so Kris decided to persuade me to have a quiet countdown with him.

We had dinner at Wendy's Spize Hut at 12 Jalan Gelenggang. Have been craving for Indian cuisine and we had Garlic and Butter Naan, Butter Chicken Masala, Chennai Fish and Cheese prata. The food is really not bad!
After dinner, we went to Thomsan Plaza to shop for our celebration wine! hehe
Bought 3 bottles of wine and some chips for only $80++
So many discount around which makes me grinzzz like there's no tomorrow. =p

We stayed home to watch the Teewee, super boring can? All the mediacorp actors and actresses were lipsyncing!!! And it's super fake lor!
But we were happy laughing at how bad the SuperBand singers are. It's really quite a disgrace to have them standing on the stage to sing live. Gosh!

Anyway, that's how I spent my last moments of 2008, with my Ke Ai De Kiss-an-do! WAHAHAHAHA!
