My Nephew Xavier

Let me introduce my naughty nephew xavier to everyone. Xavier is 5 this year. I still remember the day he was borned, I was super excited because it was my first time being an "aunty"! I was only 19 then.

He was such a cute little baby back then, very active and cheerful. NOW!? All grown up and always touch my stuffs!!!!! But he is a very smart boy I must say.

Anyway, Melvin (my bil), took part in "Today's Parents" contest and he and xavier won the viewer choice!

My Babies.

Surprise!!!!! This is my babies, one born in 31st July 2008 called Evan and another born in 15th Aug 2008 called Wryan. WAHAHAHAHA...within 15 days gave birth to 2nd child?? That is an impossible task!

No la, these are my colleague and friend's babies. =)

My poly friend Hazel gave birth to a baby boy Evan on 31st July, today I went to her baby shower. Baby Evan is a super active baby but super adorable. He will be a yandao kia when he grow up. (mai siao siao, I can predict one hokay?) We saw many kids ard, whom trigger both Kris and my maternal and his paternal instinct. I've always wanted to have my own babies since primary school, NO KIDDING! I told my sisters and mum that I wanted 4 children. My sister find me very wierd cause at that age, I should be thinking of playing catching and MASAK MASAK.

I think my biological clock is ticking. I really want to have my own baby, like NOW! WAHAHAHAHA.....if I'm financial stable now, I wouldn't mind, but I know I can't support at this moment.
No choice lor, only can be Godma now, I shall wait for a few more years! GAMBATE!

My Dream

I always have the intention to open my own business. Food Business. Maybe this is due to the fact that my parent is in the food industry. Since young (primary school), I love cooking. I remember my cousin taught me how to fried macaroni in tomato sauce and top with cheese. It tasted so good that I keep cooking for my friends to eat till they were so sick of it. LOL

During Secondary school time, we had Home Economics as one of our subject. Of course, that is my favorite lesson of all. We get to enter the kitchen and cook whatever our teacher wants us to cook for the day. And guess what? I got FULL marks for my Home Economic paper! Never in my entire life I’ve got a full marks can? Wahahahaha and I’m Top in Home Economic from the entire school. Mai siao siao hor, Lao niang go on stage to collect my award k. HAHAHAHA! People got Top in Maths ah, Top in Physic ah, I got Top in Home Economics hor!

And needless to say, friends started making fun of me, saying I’m a 100% housewife lah, can be a good Huang Nian Po lah…BUT I DON’T MIND AT ALL! CAUSE I REALLY LOVE TO COOK! =D

Along the road, I’ve wanted to help my Dad expand his business, for 30 years, he is still in this little stall at this little market, WITH 2 of his sisters and my mum. If my grandmother got the business mindset back then, I am sure my dad will be a millionaire now. I’m not kidding. The 2 sisters insisted to work together, no shift (half morning, half night), no nothing, so the 4 of them work in the morning from 5.30am to 12 pm only and the stall is left vacant at night. SO WASTED HOR????

OF COURSE, Dad disapproves of me expanding his business. -_-‘’ He said its too tough and the cost price of our ingredients are too expensive, so its not easy to start a business.

Beside this, I have come out with many business ideas, but didn’t really start doing it because I do not have the capital. I’m sure Mum will support me but I do not want to use up all her money. Not say I won’t return her la but what if, WHAT IF business fail??? I got nothing to pay her back leh, use my kaching also nobody want la…wahahahaha

So I’m intending to work for a few years, save some money, and borrow some from her (maybe borrow 70%...LOL) before I start my own business.

I already know what I want to do but am not going to tell ya yet! =D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!~!~!~!~!

Today is mum's Birthday but we celebrated yesterday. Normally we would go for dinner but this time round, we had lunch at AMK Hub "Dian Xiao Er". They are famous for their roasted herbal duck. The first time I ate it was with Huiwen and Deb, I nearly melted when I put the duck skin into my mouth. It tasted damn good!

So decided to bring mum there for lunch.

After lunch, 3 of my Ah yi were supposed to give mum a surprise by bringing a cake to our place, but my Dajie brought her to do pedicure first. Nvm. So 3 of them reached our place first, WHO KNOWS, my dad went to call my mum and told her that her sisters were at our place!!! ALAMAK! hahahaha my parents cannot give surprises one leh...refer to the 3rd post for another example.

Money No Enough 2

On thursday, I had a free movie ticket to watch 'Money No Enough' by Jack Neo, our own local director.

Kris got the tickets from a fellow blogger, who gaveout free tickets on behalf of Blog Aloud. Basically, they hope that the bloggers can write about the show.

I remember watching 'Money No Enough 1' and I find it quite funny, but not a hardcore fan I must say, and I would not spend the money to watch a local production unless it’s REALLY interesting or it’s FREE! This is due to me “Money no enough” so cannot anyhow spend. Haha.

Anyway, the starting of the show was quite lame, showing people tearing down the ERP gantry and throwing it into the river and all. It’s all CG effect and I feel that Singapore has improved in it. So much better than China but if you want to compare with Hollywood, “No horse run” wahahahaaha…meaning no horse willing to run LOL NO LAH! I don’t know how to explain…means…Boh Beh Zhao lor! WAHAHAHAHA….

Ok ok, enough of the horses, back to review. I find the storyline is very realistic, typical Singaporean life. I didn’t expect the story to be like this, and didn’t expect myself to cry.

EVEN KRIS CRY LOR!

Basically it’s the story of 3 brothers and their mother. I admire the mother lar! Her acting skill is power lor I tell you!! And heard from my colleague she is 86 or 87 this year! My god, really best lah! And hor! She is the woman from the Malaysia UIC advertisement! No wonder I find her so familiar, but she aged damn a lot.

I think Jack Neo has succeeded in touching our hearts regarding filial piety. After the show, he appeared out of nowhere and starting talking about the production, telling us his motive for filming this movie etc.

Good la, next time if there’s more such event I must go, cause get to see the casts and director! Hopefully is Christopher lee, then I can ask him whether he still remember the little girl who served him the piping hot “Xia Mian” (prawn noodle) from Whampoa market!! WAHAHAHAHAHA…..Kris Chris, can you don’t marry Fann??? Thank you.

On that day, he emailed to my office, asked me to go back home, wash up and call him once I'm ready. So after work, I smsed him that I'm on my way home. He told me he was still in the office but asked me to give him a call when I'm home. I sensed something fishy but still go ahead with his plan.

When I reached home, enter my room, I saw that my computer was on, so I asked my mum,

Me:" Eh, mum, why is my computer on?"

Mum:" Kris is here mah!"

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........

I Knew it!

So I called him, he asked me to look inside my laundry bag which I found a cable inside, next, he asked me to look for a laptop, so I found it under my blanket, he asked me to plug the cable to the laptop and on it.

There was a slideshow for me! So touched!! But actually there was supposed to have a video but the file was corrupted!!! YOU SAY SUAY ANOT???

(or maybe he kay kay, actually no video lor hahahaha)

So where was he hiding? He said under bed, and I stupidly still go and look under the bed lor! How can that be possible when I was actually talking to him on the phone, sure can hear his echo mah! hahahaha

Actually he was hiding at the staircase area lor! KUKU!

WAH SEY!!!

LONG TIME NO SEE!

Alright, I'm just a lazy ass (w/o a stick up my ass). It's just that after work, I will be too tired to on the computer (Hello!!! Been facing the computer from 830am-530pm) my eyes need some rest k!!!

Anyway, went Movida at St james yesterday night with Audrey and Jerline. Met up with Cecilia and her friends for awhile coz its her birthday!!! What are we supposed to do to her???? Treat her a waterfall lor!!! hahahaha all the pictures are still with her and jerline, I will upload it once I got it! Damn Chio lor the fire!
Yanling and her colleagues joined us for awhile at powerhouse and my "highness" make it just right to head to the dancefloor!
We left pretty early, around 2 plus and decided to go for supper at Upper Thomsan. We had Bar Chor Mee and I gobbled my food down like there's no tomorrow coz I'm SUPER HUNGRY! =p

I shall end this entry here, coz im going audrey's place to do my nails!

HAPPY 11 MONTHSERY KISS-SEND-DO~~~~~

WAH!!! I'm left with 14 mins! hahahaha....

its 11.46pm now, after 12am, no more 11 month! Will be 11 month + 1 day! heh...wah jitao secondary school student hor? But, I LOVE YOU KRIS!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Erm, today I can't make it for kris as I went to meet the nutty friends as our dear Deborah is back. So, Kris and I went to Shokudo for dinner yesterday night instead.
Heard much about the food there from Cindy, so I wanted to try it out myself.

We went to the one at CityLink, Shokudo Pasta and Pizza.
Kris and I shared the cabbage with bacon miso base soup.
It taste so good that both of us cant stop scooping it until we finished the last drop!

Next is my sliced beef and cabbage spaghetti in tomato cream sauce. SUCKS!
The taste is blardy wierd! Not much taste in it. So dissapointed.
Then came Kris Pork Katsu curry don. I was saying his order is boring because that is so common but turn out his curry tasted so goooood! And also the chicken was juicy and crunchy at the same time!
We also ordered the shishamo with spicy roe, I love the texture of the fish!
Last but not least, dessert of the day would be some green tea/red bean ice-kachang.
Not bad but a bit too sweet for me.
I didn't manage to finish my spagh because it tastes really horrible! So I kept Karpok-ing kris's katsu curry rice..hehehe...

Not bad la the service and all, I shall try their pizza on my next visit!

A Chio Watch

Sunday, I brought mum and dad to AMK Hub for breakfast, and brought mine and dad's watches for batteries renewal.
So, while waiting, mum saw the very big 70% discount signboard.

Mum:"wah! 70% leh! $100 item cost $30 only, worth it hor?"

Me: "yalo!" *while looking at all the watches on display*

after awhile....................

Me: "eh ma, look at that watch, nice hor?"

Mum: " hmmm..."

I have NO intention to buy a watch at all coz to me, 1 watch is enough to last me for a few years. I've never buy my own watch, it's always a birthday gift from my friends. The one I'm currently wearing is a gift from the nutts 2 yrs back.

Suddenly...............................

Mum: " You want that watch ah?"

Me: " Heh?? What? You want to buy for me ah?" *smiling sheepishly & and I was seriously kidding...*

So, mum bought me that watch! LOL...actually I've been wanting a white watch to go with my white loafer shoe.....BIMBO RIGHT????

After paying everything and while walking towards the carpark, mum started about the 70% discount again......

Me: " Errr, but MA, my watch only got 20% leh"

Mum: " HUH?!?!?! Not 70% MEH??

Me: " No lah, they put 'up to 70%' (the 70% font 80, up to font 9) to attract aunties like you mah. hahahahahaha.....

Mum: " Wah lau eh, kena cheated by you......"

Me: "........................................................"

But thanks MUM!!!! I think this is the most expensive watch I have in my entire 24 yrs.
I will treasure it!!!!!

CHIO RIGHT??? I love it so much lor.....sigh.....

ButterFactory Girls' NightOut!

Last Friday, Jo, reena and myself went to Butterfactory as we have not been clubbing very frequently. We decided leave the guys out as they are very troublesome! Always asking "who's going? what time? see how la.....BOOOOO!!! Like aunty lor! hahaha...so much easier just the 3 of us!

Ree took a cab to my place ard 1015 and off we go! Met jo there as she has some birthday dinner with her friends earlier on.

Oh! Do you know it's free entry if you reach before 11pm with your namecard? And stupid reena forgot to remind me!!!! So I have to pay $21 for the entry but luckily there's 2 drinks included.

First round, 2 mug of beer.
Second round, 11pm - 12am one for one, so we ordered 1 dozen of sex on the beach for only $31!!! It look really like hoegaarden from the small mug! Yummy!!
Third round, Ice Tea which is supposed to be their Hot Fav. It contain lots of mixture and i can only remember it has champagne in it. Haa...

After all the drinks, we got really high and off to the dance floor! The music was okay and the crowds.....ermmmm, lots of xiao didi and old ang moh...wierd combi hor?
Anyway, we did enjoy ourselves la!

3 of us agreed that we are really getting old coz we felt tired at 2am!!!!!! We used to club til 4-5 am and we were still hyper and all! So we went for supper instead at serangoon road.

Man....we are old! =(
