Adidas Sundown Marathon 2009

This was my 2nd 10km run. The first one was last dec Stand chart run and I have improved!!!
Last year's timing was 1hr29mins, I think this year should be around 1hrs10 or 15 mins,
not too sure yet. But my eldest sis clock 1hr3mins...

The whole run was quite smooth as I took Kris advice for running slower than my normal comfortable pace for the first 5km, after that then took up speed!
And I realised I really ran quite fast at the end, keep overtaking ppl, damn shiok!
The singlet for this years' Sundown is really nice BUT M size is too tight for me!!!! Damn sian!!!
In the end wore my own singlet....*yawn*

Mum, Dad and Kris came to support us as well hehehehe, so nice right?
Mum was so sweet because after the run, she saw me perspiring like hell, so she took out an handkerchief and started wiping my sweat from my face while i was busy talking to sis and kris. It was only after awhile that I realised Mum had used the same hanky to wipe sis's sweat...

AM I PREGNANT?

Today, while my family and I were on our way down to have our Mother's Day dinner, Xavier (my 6 years old nephew) asked me....

"San Yi (3rd aunt), you have baby?" (looking at my tummy)

"No, why?"

"I think you and Uncle Kris should get married."

"Why?"

"Because the two of you are in love, so you should get married"

I don't know whether that is an insult or what...HAAHAHAHA
I was wearing this super baggy doll-like top which makes me look really like a pregnant lady, plus I really have a little huge tummy.
But suddenly, I remember Xavier wanting Kris to be at my place every Sunday so that he could play some board games with him. He looked super disappointed whenever I told him Uncle Kris is at home.
So, its either....
1. He really thought I am pregnant by looking at my big tummy
2. He wanted Kris to marry me so that he do not need to go back home so that he can play games with him.

But I think the first one is more accurate since it happened in the lift and he was standing right in front of me with his little head facing my huge tummy.

OMG!!!! I saw the link Daphne Maia plurk earlier on and went to Youtube Snowball the Cockatoo.

GreenBean!!! ( Oh Shit, why is it underlined this time round????)

I have bought my 2nd lovebird 3 weeks + ago!
Its all fated I tell you.
The moment I set my eyes on her (I assume again), I fell in love.
She just stood in the cage and looked at me with her "puppy" eyes (ey,bird eyes) but kris refused to let me buy it due to Bluey's injured toe.
I was so sad lor!
2 weeks later, we walk passed the petshop and saw her there again!!! Nobody buy her!!! This time with lots of other lovebirds in the same cage.
When I go near them, all the lovebirds except for Greenbean flew away from me. I am very sure at that moment I have to buy her back.
So now, let me introduce you GreenBean!~!~!~! A 4 month old lovebird who is super friendly and stupid at the same time hahahahha
Friendly because she keeps snuggling towards Bluey, stupid because after Bluey bit her leg or head, she still chiong towards Bluey. WAHAHAHAHA!

LZB Outing (Lau Zar Bor) / Belated Birthday present

This post is supposed to be out last week but I drafted it and left it there till now.
Was uploading all the pictures until I fell asleep ZZZzzzz

Anyway, met up with Josephine and Reena for dinner at this Ramen restaurant at The Central.
Jac was supposed to join us but she was not feeling well.

After dinner, it was still early so we went to chill out at A971 Cafe at Merchant Road Riverside Point before going to St James Powerhouse. Nice place I must say and the drinks are not too expensive due to the Happy Hours.


Oh!! You know why call ourselves the Lau Zar Bor?? Cause when we reached PowerHouse, we were sitting at the Bar counter drinking Beer and eating Chicken wings, you tell me aunty anot?
And when we looked around us, the people there are all bloody young can? We felt damn old lor!!! *sad*
So we called ourselves the 3 LZB Hiao-ing on a Saturday night. HAHAHAHA!

Anyway this is the Miso soup base Ramen I had. Love the soup but a little salty/
