As you guys know, I love cooking! So once in a while, I will invite friends over for a mini gathering. Last Saturday of May, I invited the nuttz over.
Nothing to wow about but it was my first attempt in this sweet and sour prawns,
Ingredients:
1/2 kg prawns
1 piece pineapple (cube it!)
1/2 a cucumber (cube it!)
1 big red onion (sliced it!)
and.......instant sweet and sour sauce!!!!!! LOL
So not pro hor? Okok, next time I will try to make my own sauce. This time play cheat abit.
Anyway, I love the prawns and the pineapple, very sweet!
And I fried rice with char siew and dried shrimps and CC soup. (Corn and Carrot)
I'm addicted to Chinese food now. Trying to learn more dishes. All the while, since sec sch, I love cooking pasta and all, very westernize, now more cheena. That's the real cook!!! Not easy ok?? Western food beri easy lor, just boil the pasta, heat the sauce, TADAH! (no la, actually I did more than that, I stir fried garlic and onions, add in veggies and meat to make the pasta more tasty. haolian hor?)
Ok back to the point, I really miss the 2 other Nutts. Both of them are in aussieland now but will be back this month end. Can't wait to see and party with them!
The 6 of us will always be the crazy bunch of girls. We can laugh the whole day whenever we were out together till all our jaws feel sore. LOL! At one point of time, I really can't close my mouth, my jaw was like going to drop! All of us are actually very different in characters, but somehow we manage to clique very well.
Huiwen and yanling was my classmate since sec 1.
Get to know Jac and Audrey through netball.
and then deborah, who was introduced to us by audrey.
I don't know was it fate which brought the 6 of us to the same class in sec 2. So the crazy girls build a stronger bond from then onwards.
Let me describe how different we were......
Starting from the oldest to youngest
1. Huiwen aka Phua sai
Huiwen used to be quite big size, not fat but big bone. She is considered one of the tallest girl in class and she always attract upper sec guy's attention. Basically, she is a super NUA girl, lazy and is ALWAYS LATE!
Over the years, she changed to become a CHIOBU, become DAMN feminine and without any explanation, attracts more bees and flies and mosquitoes. She was once a JAL stewardess after graduating from NYP and now she just completed her degree in Brisbane. Oh not forgetting, a LABEL siao!
2. Ruifang (me)
No need to describe. From a black bamboo stick to a chiobu. period.
ok, I'm kidding, I know some of you are already puking. I've put on SO MUCH weight since then. I AM A PIG. period.
3. Yanling aka hippo
Yanling was <--WAS a very guai guai girl back in school. She would sit quietly at the front or centre of the classroom(as she is not very tall). But after interacting with ME for sometime, you can hear her voice from Bishan to JOHOR. And she loves to repeat the last word her friends said. It seems like there's echo when you finish your sentences. Don't know why. She used to be very bochap in dressing up, but over the years, I can see that she has become more HIAO. Drawing her eyebrow, wearing dresses etc You know why? Attract guys lah!!! FA CHUN LIAO!!! WAHAHAHAHA.....
4. Audrey aka ou gui
Wah! This girl. Even more guai than the above. She is so soft spoken until I feel like smacking her face. Hello?? Talking to ants izit? wahahahaha....She is the ANG MO PAI one, so whenever we speak in chinese, she will sit quietly at a corner and stone. The classic one is she will asked us "what do you mean?" whenever we finished laughing at a joke. -_-""
This girl is so cute and gullible back in school that we always disturb her. Guess what we did? We were at coffeebean (our fav hangout place) after school, so she offered to help us order our drinks, can't rem who came out with this idea but she told audrey there was a new drink name Tea Pearly.
So over the counter, audrey told the waiter she wants a Tea Pearly, the waiter was like "huh? What?" WAHAHAHAHAHAHA......
Anyway, audrey is a arty farty kind of girl. She is DAMN creative and can draw really well. She is a marketing executive, part-time manicurist, she do hand-made cards, hand-made clays/magnets, hand-made necklace/earring and also a Salsa dancer.
5. Deborah aka thunderous
This petite girl is a chilli padi. She is every guy's dream girl. Small and cute, whenever you see her, you will have the urge to protect her. Great figure, intelligent and pretty. Don't see her small small size, when she get very excited, her voice also xia si ren one lor. WAHAHAHAHA! And she is those who BU SHUANG you, she will show it on her face one. So better don't provoke her. She BITES! She is totally different from the rest of us. Why? She is not from netball and she don't do sports but we still managed to be best friend! Another LABEL SIAO.
6. Jacqueline Long aka JiKi Long
She is very long. That's all I have to say about her.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......
no la, this long girl got the same height as me in sec 1, but ever since she went Australia for holiday with her family, she shoot up like there's no tomorrow. People, this lady is 176cm now. SIAO HOR?? And the shortest in our group are 155cm. I shall not say who. Not hippo, not Phua sai, not me. Go guess. BTW, there are 2 of them who are 155cm. LOL!
Jiki long don't believe in having a bf. She said: " not sian meh, everytime see the same person, then must be committed."
HORRRRR!!! I THINK SHE PREFER FLINGS~~~

Anyway, I really have to share this with you guys. Ever heard of anyone who cried after being force to drink beer at St james powerhouse?
Yes. Her.
On one of the clubbing session with my SIM friends, Jac was being forced to go with us. She don't fancy clubbing btw. SO, classmates and me kept forcing her to TAH the beer till she scared and CRIED! FUNNY ANOT??? In the end no choice but to ask Leon who just drove his car near the carpark to send her back coz she said she giddy. ... .... .... ....
It's really not easy to have friends who stays with you for more than 10 years. =) Love you girls!!!
